Okay...is someone computer literate? Perhaps we could do a cd of favorite songs...and even if we can't this year, we can list them here, and maybe we can do it for 2008...I've been trying to think of a favorite I would like to have on a Vowell Sounds CD...Right now, for some reason I keep coming up with

Ode to Billie Joe (because it has Tallahatchie in it, as well as Bobbye Streeter is from around here (greenwood)

Does anybody recognize this vase? No, I don't think it's going into auction, but browse this site for auction items.

Can anybody make a t-shirt quilt? I think they are fast, and I feel many of us can contribute a t-shirt for a square. The kitty can pay for the materials or to have it done, and the auction price could start at that amount? Anybody interested?

Saturday, February 11...Sandra gets three entries in the suggestion pot...

Sandra--Saturday night at Tiak O'khota...would anybody be interested in watching some chick flicks at the cabin...jammie party for the non-poker types...

Sandra--have the pancake breakfast Saturday morning, and the Easter meal at 4:00 on Saturday, which would leave time for lots of activities (egg-dying, pinatas, picture taking) in between?

Sandra--have an "I remember when..." blog where everyone could contribute if they remembered the event...like the time at (Sardis? Grenada?) when the toddler (Pat?) went under the chain link fence headed for certain death in the ditch below. People yelled, "Pat went under the fence." Was Nell holding a baby? Was the toddler Pat? Was she wearing a dress? Who grabbed her? Why were we there? When were we there?

Pat--i think that we should have a vowell town memory 'site' and then all of the memories of the vowell clan could be printed out by aunt jo since she reads emails and put in a binder....or maybe we could auction it off since the quilt will not be ready until 2008.......the memories could go farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr back....
Sue--we could have a puzzle swap (usually jigsaw, but why limit things), where folks bring puzzles that they want to get rid of, I mean that they want to exchange for another puzzle that someone else brought.
